The 1990 BMW 325is was a sports car commonly known as the Evo 1 created by BMW South Africa. It replaced the 2.5 litre 126 kW 325i in Group N production car racing as a response to the introduction of the new Opel Kadett 2 litre 16V to the Class A category. Launched in the first half of 1990, it was powered by an Alpina-fettled, 2.7 litre M20 engine which produced 145 kW (194 hp). Aluminum doors, fenders and a bonnet were fitted with the 5-stud race-tuned suspension from the European BMW E30 M3 which was not sold in South Africa. In 1991 BMW South Africa was pushed further to introduce the 325iS Evolution HP, commonly referred to as the Evo 2 to rival the upgraded Opel Kadett 16V SUPERBoss. The motor was upgraded to produce 155 kW (208 hp) and went on to win the Group N Class A title in 1993, winning 20 of the 24 races and setting several lap records in the process.

FRAME :
Profile : A 14 x 34mm (0,55 x 1.33inch) beveled profile made from Obeche (African Maple) which is depended upon for its stability and relative resistance to warping once machined. It is offered in either color black, white or our exotic African hardwood 'Kiaat'.
GLASS :
'Museum Glass' is 'non-reflective' and absorbs damaging UV light to allow over 98% transmission allowing only the best vibrant colors to translate and is advised for all the limited & signed prints.
'Standard' picture framing glass is a 2mm clear float glass. It is inexpensive and will protect your artwork from dust and physical damage.
BACKING :
Full archival acid-free board with 10mm deep-sunk (spacer) in same to create depth and set the artwork back off the glass.
